No, this blog isn't dead, contrary to what you may think.
I've just been busy - which, I know that's a bullshit excuse. But between mental health and college work, I haven't had much time to pursue many interests of mine, let alone sit down for huge chunks of time to write posts for this blog.
But now, Christmas break has come and (mostly) gone, and I feel like I'm finally ready to post a slew of new content again. But what will that involve?
I'll try to be frank about what I have planned without spoiling too much:
- Two huge catchup posts (one of which will likely be broken into two parts) about two groups I started stanning in 2019 - one girl group, and one boy group
(I LISTENED TO A BOY GROUP FOR ONCE WHAT IS GOING ON.) - A full album review for both of those groups (one review each)
It's important to note that one of these catchup posts, as well as its corresponding album review, will be going up next week. The catchup post is actually already done! And it may or may not be related to a specific boy group making a comeback in the first week of January... 👀
In terms of what else I have planned:
- Three other mini album reviews
- A singular, large-ish catchup post where I talk about songs I've missed throughout the year
And, the biggest set of posts I have here:
- 2019 YEAR END LISTS.
Year end lists are one of the main reasons I made this blog, and I positively cannot wait to share them with you. I'm only going to be doing three this year - my 5 favourite albums, my 10 favourite b-sides, and my 10 favourite songs. All of them will be going up throughout the day on New Years' Eve, to really close the year out in the best way possible. And let me just say, while K-Pop in 2019 was a stinker when it came to celebrities and actual showbiz news, music-wise... it rocked my fucking socks off. You'll see what I mean in a few days. 😉
I think I've rambled enough for now. I'll be doing my absolute best to get these reviews written and ready to post - most of the cover images are already edited. I do have exams coming up, but my timetable is spread out enough to afford for breaks and time to write posts. So, between study and stressing out over exams - and my birthday - I'll be writing all of the above posts, and gradually publishing them as we move into 2020. Then, depending on what comebacks happen, I'll be writing reviews sporadically throughout the year. I'd promise to post more consistently, but it's me, we all know that won't happen.
Regardless, look forward to the year-end lists on Tuesday! I know I am. 😊 See you then!
