Blog update! [1st March 2019]

By Anonymous - March 01, 2019

There's been a few changes here and there to the blog recently, so I figured I'd make an update post to talk about them!

First off, the site looks COMPLETELY different. I've given K-Pop Rambles itself a bit of an overhaul thanks to a new theme called Angel! It's a custom theme that looks exactly like what I've wanted the blog to look like since I created it. The moving photo gallery of recent posts at the top DID prove to be a bit of a problem, since the pictures within the posts themselves were acting like photo galleries as well. But I've mostly fixed it! Just... don't click on the arrows on the image posts and we'll be good. (I'm now grateful we studied HTML as part of my computing course.😅)

The second thing is that I've been thinking of adapting a loose upload schedule. It'd give me something to work towards and help take a bit of the pressure off, too. If there's something I want to post about, I'm thinking I could work on it for the week in my spare time and post it at the weekends. Hell, I may start trying to post every weekend if I can - I've got a lot of ideas for opinion pieces I could burn through! And hey, March is looking like it's going to be fucking insane in terms of comebacks. I think it's something I'll try out for now! Apologies if I'm inconsistent in any way - I promise I'll try and do my best to keep schedule, but college can be a bitch now and then.

Finally, I've gone and opened up a few social media pages for the site! You can find all of them easily on the blog's home page. I've opened a Facebook page, a Twitter page and a Tumblr page - I wanted to open an Instagram, but the email address was giving me problems, so I gave up on that. But I'm probably going to be posting my reviews on Tumblr now as well, since that's a site I'm incredibly familiar with AND it'll (hopefully) help increase my exposure a bit. It's worth a shot, for sure!

That's all the major updates I can think of to cover, though. I'll be hopefully posting an album review of CLC's "No. 1" this weekend, so keep an eye out for that! I've got a pretty bad ear problem right now and need to spend a lot of time in bed because of it, so I may as well use the time to write some reviews. 😉
